Shift **** Question

I just purchased a replacement shift **** at a swap meet for my '07 GT/CS 5 speed that has a reducer and a jamb nut from the guy but it did not fit so I was wondering if anyone knew the size of the shifter so I can get the correct jamb nut & reducer as he will send it to me. Basically it is a one size all round ball (with running horse in it) and he provides the reducer to fit any car along with the nut.

Thanks for any help

If this is the stock GT shifter, the **** thread should be 12mm x 1.25

Your **** probably is for an earlier model. The thread / pitch for '05-'10 shifters is 12mm x 1.25.

I think '79-'04 is 12mm X 1.75. If your **** is 1.75 pitch, it won't fit.

Grabber pony makes a nice Jam nut.
