Rear view mirror
Hi I was just wondering if the rear view mirror does have the digital readout on it. If so what does it tell you? I though it was a north, south, east west thing. What does that button do on it? I'm in England so I have not seen one up close yet. Post some pictures if you can. Thanks

The mirror in my car shows only the direction of travel, in a small box on the right side; however, you can also get one with the compass, temp and I believe the Home Link (garage doors, lights etc.).
I know there are after market versions that do this, and are compatible with the Mustang at a lower cost then the factory part.

The button just seems to turn the compass ON and OFF. Nothing more that I can notice...They also auto dim which is a real treat when you have a limo tinted back window and you try driving at night.

but its an easy add on (and worth it for the compass and temp) as outlined at: http://www.jackphelps.com/mustang/mustangmirror.htm

I love the auto dim especially at like the twilight hour when the top is down the view in mirrow has a green/blue hugh to it and looks neato also when a headlight comes up behind it takes care of the eye ***** no flippin that switch to an all black like picture . I'll go try get a pic or two right now.
