Rear view mirror

Hi I was just wondering if the rear view mirror does have the digital readout on it. If so what does it tell you? I though it was a north, south, east west thing. What does that button do on it? I'm in England so I have not seen one up close yet. Post some pictures if you can. Thanks

The mirror in my car shows only the direction of travel, in a small box on the right side; however, you can also get one with the compass, temp and I believe the Home Link (garage doors, lights etc.).

I know there are after market versions that do this, and are compatible with the Mustang at a lower cost then the factory part.

Mirror with homelling, compass & outside temp!

Here's the mirror installed on my 07 GT/CS. It works extremely well, and looks like factory!!

The button just seems to turn the compass ON and OFF. Nothing more that I can notice...They also auto dim which is a real treat when you have a limo tinted back window and you try driving at night.

The compass is only fitted to 07 and newer car fitted with the "Comfort Package" ( electric pass seat, heated seats and compass in mirror.)
