Hello all! Newbie here looking to purchase a gt/cs. Fell in love with the CS when stationed in Cali in early 80's and guy in my dorm drove one, sweetest stang I ever saw. Decided to buy my 1st new car ever and chose Mustang, was thrilled to see 2007 offers a CS package, now's my chance to have one. Been browsing through all the threads searching for great pics of verts Black/Red/Blue still undecided would love to see more with gt appearance pack. thanks in advance and will definatly post pics of mine once i get it in 17 weeks like some of you claim the order process took for you. (oh i hope not that long)! Until then i'll keep reading up and learning more from all of you.

I just picked up my GT/CS about two weeks ago and couldnt be happier with it. I dont have the GT app package cuase i dont like the hood scoop but just to give you something to compare with, heres mine.

 

Very nice Robert I like that you don't have any gaps at ALL in that hood scoop ! that you don't have, I'm kicking me for having one and then when I bring it up all the hastles and so on. I may just order a new hood have it painted. I'm still on the fence with it.

 

Dont buy a new hood, just cut a hole in the one you got and drop in a shaker!

 

how much & who sells shakers ?

 

Here's some pics of my GT/CS. So far the only mods are a set of 20" Foose Nitrous wheels in black, but I'm shopping for a CAI, axel back and springs...

GottaHaveIt, lots of people sells shakers, K&N, CDC and even Rousch. The only question is, will it cover up the holes from your scoop you have now...

Can anyone tell me how much HP the shaker scoop adds?

 

CDC, about $800. As far as HP, I dont think it makes diddly squat.
