just outta curiosity, where about on the central coast are you ? I'm planning a trip up to Big Sur in May so I'll get to drive through my favorite part of Cali... the Central Coast. With luck I can pop into Pismo, SLO, Morro Bay or Cambria for lunch. Then up Hwy 1 to Pfeiffer Big Sur. It's been so long since I've been there I can't hardly wait....

Sorry for the thread hijack.

I use to go to school in SLO but I graduated about a year and half ago. I'm in The mid west now for training. Have fun on your trip. I can't wait to go back and see the central coast when I get a chance

Not my ride Bro. Just another member's GT/CS pictures from the TMS photo site. Remembering and believe you said that you were out of Pendleton no? "Semper Fi" CalStang

Bullitt grille.

I was having a hard time deciding on going with the grille or a GT500 spoiler. I chose the spoiler. The grille will come next.

I think you have to get the pony and add it yourself, if you are contemplating a true Bullitt grille, like current eBaY item 280494352235. Looks as if the price has gone up in the six weeks since I got one for ~$180 including shipping. His price is still better than the dealer's!

I got mine on ebay too, perfect fit since it is a ford part. The side emblem is from Scott Drake, it's the 67-68 emblem, though I had to rig up a bolt epoxied to the back to mount it since it only had little pins.

Elite Auto Styling was faultless: the thing arrived in perfect condition and very quickly. Couldn't be happier with that aspect of it. I don't expect any fitment issues because, as Starfire said, it's a factory part. Well, maybe a couple of issues: all I want from it is the aluminum trim, to put on the stock GT grille; however, I don't see an easy way to separate the trim from the grill, and it looks as if, even with the trim separate, the auxiliary lamp bezels will require some accommodation I'm not sure I can do.

Another part on the shelf in my garage, awaiting time and motivation.

Some of the shelved parts may find a new home next Saturday:
IRVINE MEET/SWAPMEET

If you're not busy and nearby, it would be a treat to see any of y'all.

I'm glad you said that. I'm showing this to my wife so she can see I'm not the only one that does this
