Picking up a Candy Apple Red GT/CS today!

Picking up a Candy Apple Red GT/CS today!
We made a deal on a left over '08 GT/CS on Saturday and we'll be picking up the car today sometime. It was too late for them to get it for us on Saturday since the car we wanted was at another dealership. It's Dark Candy Apple red with the Dove/Charcoal interior, HIDs, and heated seats. So, once we get "The Call", we're both leaving work and going to pick up our combined 5th Mustang. I can't wait! Pics will follow asap!

Congradulation on your new GT/CS. I'm sure you will enjoy your dark candy apple red pony as much as I am enjoying mine. I picked up my 2009 GT/CS dark candy apple last week. I'm already making mods, and will post pictures as soon as possible.

Well, we picked it up this afternoon and all I can say is "wow!". What a world of a difference in this car vs. the previous Mustangs we've owned. I know this may sound dumb, but I now feel like I own a "true" Mustang. I guess it's the retro-ness of it. Like it's a time warp or something.
Thanks for all the responses. It looks just like the one that 08GTCandyApple posted, minus the hood scoop. We hadn't seen our actual car in person til picking it up today, and when I looked over the print out of the window sticker on Saturday when our dealership located the car, I failed to notice that it didn't have a hood scoop and DID have side airbags. Those are both positives for me. I like the look of the hood scoops, but I'm one of those people who have an issue with them if they're not functional.
Anywho, due to a couple softball games right after picking up the car, I wasn't able to get any pics before it got dark out. I will certainly try to get some tomorrow after work though! (Not that we don't all already know what it looks like. Lol.)

Right when I read due to a couple softball games right after picking up the car, I thought you were going to say you found a couple softball sized dents on the car haha. Congrats and let the mods begin!

I custom ordered mine without the hood scoop. I'm another one who didn't want it because it wasn't functional. Then again, the side scoops are not functional either. Sometimes while driving I sorta wish I had the scoop. Maybe on my 2011...
