Well I'm going to go buy a GT/CS this weekend. The dealer has 2 exact optioned cars. Only thing differet is one is BLACK and the other VISTA BLUE. I can't decide!

All you out there with either a Vista Blue or a Black Stang please post up some pics so I can decide! Thanks!

 

i vote CS in blue. i'm not a fan of black stripes on a black car. whose idea was that?

 

Blue. Black looks great, but high maintenance

 

Get rid of the stripe and have a set made up in white.

 

I vote for the vista blue... oh wonder why?

 

I have a feeling that Vista Blue might unseat Black as #1 color choice. Black was #1 for '05 and '06.

I was between Redfire and Vista Blue, black or White was never a consideration for ME.
My GT/CS Conv 5sp with the full load on order (which has already been 6 weeks and I'm told will be at least the same again) is in Blue with the black cloth roof and dove interior.

 

what colour is the hood on either car? I just think a black car with a black roof is a bit to much. Go with the blue one.

 

Black looks Incredible when clean and polished, but OH so hard to keep that way, not too mention HOT as hell in the summer.
I voted VB, one of the best colors available. Hmm I may be a bit biased though.
Although not quite the mirror finish of Black, it's pretty good.

Vista Blue with the black CLOTH top....but i'm biased . My '05 GT coupe was black on black and I really liked the look when it was clean...but even parking it in the garage - it was hard to keep it that way - I also have an '05 F-150 Lairat 4x4 that sits outside and I give up trying to keep it clean....the maintenance on a black car is just more than I can keep up with.....but it really is YOUR choice as the black on black looks nice too.

 

I voted VB due to stripe issue and that black is too much work to keep up... and VB looks beautiful!! VB was my second color choice after tungsten for my personal ride.

 

 

Not black... White! So easy to keep clean! The dirtiest part of my car is the black hood stripe (I have to clean that hourly if I want it to look as clean as the white).

Oh, that's not a choice. Hmmmmmm, then I'll have to go with VB.

This thread has me confused on a few things, though (maybe I'm tired)

1. Why is Redfire Metallic one of the choices in the poll?
2. Someone asked "What color is the hood?" Is it not the same color as the rest of the car?
3. Why are people telling you what color top to get? Is this a convertible?

 

LEO06GT - that's one sweeeeet looking ride you got there...almost identical to my '05 (and I do miss the black - just too much maintenance for me to keep up with) seeing that shaker hood scoop makes me consider ditching my non-functional GT hood scoop and going for the shaker...I dig the way that looks

sorry to confuse you! I just threw in Redfire Metallic because that was my "other choice" And no this will NOT be a convertible. Not that I have anything against them mind you. No idea about the color of the hood question. I was stumped on that myself.

 

Hey, sorry about the "hood" colour. That was me asking, i thought the car was a convertible. And here in the UK we call the soft top a hood. A "hood" in Britain is a bonnet. The "trunk" is the boot. It is just taking a minute to lean to speak american! part of the fun of driving american cars over here.

I have a black GT/CS. While it is very high maintainence, it looks great. Once you clay bar, detail and wax, wax and wax. It is an awesome site to behold. I almost changed the color stripes out, but decided against it.
