New Spoiler

Hey everyone,

I just installed a new GT500 spoiler on my car, and I went out and took a few new photos of my car. Let me know what you think!

I agree. They should have been included on the Shelby GT for sure. I think all mustangs need a spoiler, they look unfinished without one.

If anyone wants to buy one, I bought this on eBay for $109 shipped. It came pre-painted and ready to install! The company is called caraccessories123 and all you have to do is search painted GT500 spoiler and they should come up.

So what next? I am thinking lowering springs... then what?

As far as power goes, I think my only options that are worth my while would be; a supercharger, or cams, or nitrous. Any thoughts of what could be done with a reasonable budget?

I don't right now... I'm looking at either the eibach pro kit or vogtland springs. Both are just under an inch and a half drop.

Looks great! I'm thinking about doing this my self. Did the holes from the factory spoiler match up with the new one pretty good or did you have to do some modification to get it on there?

If you go for the Ford Racing Performance Parts GT500 Spoiler, part number M-16600-SVTC then the four bolt holes will line up perfectly.

As I mentioned above, I bought this spoiler off of eBay, painted, for $109 shipped. It only had two bolts on it, and they lined up perfectly w/ the holes that are already there. The rest of the spoiler is fastened with 3m tape. For the price, it can't be beat... i.e. if the paint is off a little, then just get it repainted.

I found the spoiler you purchased and it says in the description you have to drill 2 more holes in the trunk. Did you just not drill the holes? Here's the link but its from my phone. Yellow car/ silver stripes in the pic...
