I like mesh style wheels, but for these cars I think the mesh needs to be a little more relaxed and not so tightly wound. I also think some black on those wheels(or gunmetal) would really help to accent the car, especially the CS stripe. I also think you need a lowering! That would REALLY set the car off.

the CS is lower from the factory and driving in ny sucks i cant go any lower the front end worries me as it is now lol. i had someone photo shop the same rims in black on and it just dident have the POP WOW factor i think blue needs that crome / silver to stand off otherwise it looks dull

You don't have to tell me about the CS being lower. This is why the springs I got won't give it a dramatic drop since there are a few areas around here that aren't too friendly to lowered cars.

I've always been more for a subtle look, but if you're going for the popping factor, then that wheel color should do it.

I'm looking at mesh for my next set but want a lip on them with gunmetal/anthracite centers, car looks good, lower just the back with steedas, only about an inch drop.

Black rims only look good if they're very clean and you're standing next to the car. If you're rolling down the road they might as well be steel rims with the hubcaps removed.

Here is a little bit more PS work on them, they look a little bright to me in the first pic (though just a guess) though it might help.

Second pic incase you ever did lower the car

Stock 18 x 8.5 has a 6.82 backspacing and 50mm offset. Per the Ford racing catalog. I personally like bigger tires on the rear. I'm running a 285 tire on the back and love the look

I like Mesh, I had a few sets in mind when looking for new wheels.

As far as black wheels on Vista, you need black spokes with a silver/machine lip to not look like steelies, my old set:

If you are willing to go 19's, check out the Linea Corse Lemans

IMO, mesh doesn't look good on the Stangs. Too busy and makes it look like bling instead of muscle. I prefer the old school look and the stock wheels, IMO, are best suited.

All depends on the car and the specific color scheme of the wheels. Personally, I didn't build my Pony to be retro, and I wanted something different than stock. Went with black mesh and silver lips, looked great with my vert that has a black top. All personal preference! IMO it looks much more Euro than it does bling...doesn't really come close to "bling" unless they are chrome.
