I am ordering my 2008 GT/CS from military car sales. I plan on getting black. I see some of you have the Shelby type stripes on your cars and thought black/white stripes would look good. Is it possible to get the stripes with the car, or is everyone getting them painted on aftermarket?

I think most people are getting the vinyl stripes because (1) you can get them on the car from the dealer or aftermarket fairly quickly and easily and (2) painted stripes cost at least 3x more ($1500 is the cheapest I've seen, and I bet most people pay way more).

I get to take delivery in December. I had an 01 GT I sold before deploying and was wondering how the power is on these new ones compared to the 01 engines? I know its 300hp vs 260 but was wondering if its a real noticeable difference.
