Very, very nice, both of them. I officially have house envy.

Thanks Jill. It is what I do I guess. I like nice houses, and big mortgages too BTW.

So many times I've thought of moving to something bigger. Then I keep reminding myself that my house will be paid off when I turn 50 (and since I'm in my 40's, it's really right around the corner). We have a lot of equity in the house, so we could sell and put a nice chunk down on something new. But honestly, real estate in Maryland is rediculously expensive and I don't want a mortgage when I'm 60-70 years old. Plus, my oldest just moved out (1 down..........2 to go!) The other 2 are in high school, so it won't be too much longer for them either.

The other factor is that I work for a title company. The housing market right now is down right frightening. We have been fortunate enough not to have layoffs, but we have had a lot of cutbacks. From people voluntarily cutting back their hours, and now, mandatory salary reductions (just found out that little bit of info this morning).. Not good. Sorry to get off topic, just had to vent a little bit.

I hear you. Things are slower here, but we are fortunate, the market was never really hot here either. We never had the flippers and speculators in our local real estate so houses still sell like they did 2 or 3 years ago, constant and steady. Plus we're in Texas which just keeps adding jobs month after month to its economy. While things are good right now, more than ever I worry about the next year as years pass. I used to worry about next week or maybe next month living week to week when I was younger, now that I'm older I worry constantly about next year, beyond the timeframe that I have some reasonable control. Having kids will do that to you.

I have a quick question. I have the Shelby American Torque Thrust Wheels like yours, but would like to have the same center caps that you have on your wheels. Do you know if the center caps will work with the Shelby American TTs (made by American Racing)?

I honestly don't know. I've never seen them in person. I got the center caps from American Muscle, you might ask them, or maybe someone else here might know.

Gary:
Thanks, but I stopped at my Ford Racing Dealership and they let me try the old Bullit center cap to see if it would fit. It does, so any body looking to use the Bullit center caps with the Shelby American TT wheels, they are an exact fit. By the way your car looks outstanding!
Thanks for your resopnse.

New pics with new mods. Agent 47 mirrors painted by SHR, SHR fuel door black/satin, and front markers with clear lens/black housing/stealth bulbs.

Your car looks even better. I'm not a fan of adding a lot of after market parts but the parts you have added are black and on a black Mustang they look exceptionally good. Usually the parts and changes look too flashy for my tastes on a any other color but black makes the changes look subtle and right at home on your Mustang. Nice job. Those are the first agent 47 mirrors that I have seen that look good to me.

I'm itching to see this next mod for $49.95.

Hope you don't mind... I had to see what it would look like without the front plate.

I know. I didn't order it so it was delivered to me that way. And Texas is a front license plate state. I want to remove and I know I'll have two holes, which could be filled with ome black plugs I've seen on here and noone would notice. I am concerend about the amount of scratches the plastic edge of the plate holder has mad on the bumper since it has been on there. But in the near future I'll do something about it and use some kind of removable plate. It is an eyesore on there, isn't it.

WOW Thanks John for doing the photoshop so I could see the difference.

looking good

Wow, love the combo! Been planning stripes on my blk GT/CS, go back and forth liking and not liking the faint factory stripe. Seeing yours with the flat blk hood stripes might sway me towards leaving them. Thought about Bob Whites stipes in Ford Blue or grey but the black is awesome and completes the subtle package.

I guess I should update those pics. Lots of changes since then.

I never knew anyone would resurrect this thread...
