New here, forgive me

Like the thread title says, I'm new here. From what I have seen, it's a great site. Thousands of pages of information.
I'm not only new to this site, but new to Mustangs also.
Some history:
I'm 59 years old and the 07 GT/CS is the first Ford product I have ever owned.
Ordered the car Jan. 15th and received it March 28th. Had I known that I could order an 08 next Monday, I might have waited, but do love what I have.
Is a red one ( also a first for me ).
I built the car online at least 25 times, but when I got to the dealer ordering, the dealer said the computer would not allow pony spinners, which I did want. I'm old school and remember the earlier Mustangs, and think the spinners do set the car off some.
Does anybody have any info on adding the spinners ? Or do they just not fit?
It's a great car and turns alot of heads.
When I say forgive me, I mean that I will probably ask questions that have alreday been asked, but I can't seem to find the answers.
Thanks in advance,
Ron

First off Welcome to the Forum and welcome here and to Ford owning in general. There are after market tri bar spinners and Ford dealers sell them as well but like Tom asked what type of wheels did you get?

Sorry, they are the stock 18 inch wheels that came on the car, no plans to change them at the moment.

Welcome to the forum bald-guy. A while back I was looking into spinners for my CS and they were available to fit the stock 18s. However, I saw the spinners on another Mustang with the same wheels and I changed my mind. Just didn't look right.

Welcome Ron. I'm a recent buyer too!

Hey, I think it's a law that the new guys have to post pics of their car!

(Well, it's probably not really a law, we just like looking at pictures )

BTW, you've found the greatest place to get your Mustang-related question answered.

Welcome, Ron, and congrats on your new GT/CS.

I'm an older guy also (63 in May) and I've only been on here since I got my car in August last year. You did come to the best Mustang site IMO. Enjoy your new CS.

Ron,
Congratulations on your new ride. Why not give Kevin Casey(05stangkc) a call (800.570.0554)at work Monday for suggestions. He's been a great help to many of us. As an added plus, his ride is just like yours, a redfire GT/CS coupe. Please keep us informed of any other mods you might be considering. Best of luck, Joe

Thank all of you so much for the warm welcome, I appriciate it.
Only mods planned right now are the rear quarter window louvers which I was going to paint flat black, but decided to go with the body color, they are at paint shop now and maybe black stripes, not real sure about them yet, and perhaps the pony spinners after I'm sure they will fit, if I don't like them, not out too many dollars and will resell.
The car is intended to be a daily summer driver and more reliable than the rest of my cars. I won't go into the rest of my cars, as I said this is my first Ford and listing the rest would probably be considered swearing in here, LOL.
The weather here has been crappy since I got it, so it sets in the garage.
Thank you again,
Ron

Just a thought!
