Good luck and great choice! I have been considering that one as well and picked up a donor grill a while back for $35. I heard the modification process with the stocker is fairly time consuming along with the CS grill not not coming with very good instructions. Post some updates on how it goes.

I like that grill too! I looked at it a few months back. Didn't realize you need a stock grill and that so much work was involved. Guess I'll just keep what I got. Post up some pics of the install when you have time.

I remember seeing the instructions from Shelby and it seemed kinda hooky that you had to cut out much of the stock grill's innards.

According to Shelby you still have to modify your grill, which is not the end of the world but you think they would have just designed it better from the begining.

Shelby factory original on the 2005-2009 Shelby CS8 models>

Notes:
• Requires modification of a 2005-2009 Ford Mustang GT grille to install.
• Fits stock Mustang GT front fascia.
• Grille has provisions for driving lights, but are not provided.
• "Shelby" lettering and letter backing plate not included.

Notice:
This grille is a service replacement part for existing CS owners. Effective 03 May 210, CS grilles will no longer utilize center driving lamps.

,,,,I was told by the people at Shelby Parts, that it is the one ( they came up with / had made ,just to make it easy for them to do their mods at their shops ), / faster than using a stock GT grille as a backing,,it is the same grille and housung used on the Terlingua Mustangs,,the mounting holes for the CS grille are already there,,just slide it into place and bolt down ,you can go the the ShelbyStore.com and see it up close,,I will post some pictures when I get all the parts together,,before and after install ,since there will be no cutting on the stock grille ,should be quite easy,,just remove the stock grille housing with the factory fogs,,and put together the CS grille and install back,,,I will try and take as many pictures as I can ,,so this mod will be more easy for someone else thinking about doing the same,,I see the only problem that may come up is the mounting of the PIAA light mounts ,but I already have quite a few pictures from my friends over at TeamShelby that will help,,thanks for posting and looking in ,,Respectfully Richard
