cost me $ 229.00 with shipping ,off E-bay,from Blue Oval Industries,paint black,and remove stock GT spoiler and install new GT500 spoiler will cost me another $ 170.00 at body shop,for a total of $ 399.00 ,should have it all done by next weekend.

Does the texture and color of the bare spoiler match the chin spoiler? I wonder if it could be left unpainted and look OK, or if it really needs to be finished.

it was a dark gray in color,and the texture is slick to the feel,

No, it has to be painted. The bare material shows marks and wouldn't look good unpainted.

I went ahead and removed the stock GT rear spoiler tonight ,I do not trust the body shop to do that ,did alittle cleaning also,where the stock spoiler mounts were,getting the stock one off was alittle hard and took sometime. " them suckers are on good "

If you think the stock one is bad, can you imagine pulling the GT500 spoiler off with that huge strip of adhesive? I don't even want to think about that one!

looks good i got mine painted and shipped for 110$ from spoiler express finish and paint was 10/10 coudent be happier for the price. i wanted to buy from ford but was not gona run a 350-400$ price tag up for a spoiler
