My First Mustang!!!
Hi All! Just got my first Mustang...an 07 GT/CS about 2 weeks ago. LOVING this thing so far. I came close to considering a new one...but the thought of dropping 30 grand in a car with nowhere near as many goodies as "Cali" has made me think otherwise. It took a little searching for the right used one, but I think I made the right choice. I was never a big fan of the Vista blue by itself...but these white racing stripes (though they are 6 years old, and kinda cracked in different spots) really brings out the color of the car. I noticed the p/o added Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. There is a little drone going down the road, but nothing worth changing them for. I only looked because another gt/cs passed by my job...but not quite as "talkative" as mine...one less thing I have to buy! I'm hoping to add a few more things to the car like a CAI, tuner, and maybe some suspension upgrades...nothing too major. Any input you guys may have is welcomed! Thanks in advance!

Nice!! Is Gates near the coast? I'm guessing it is with OBX in your name. I'm over in the mountains.
Interesting how you can barely make out the GT/CS stripes on the side in that color blue. If the stripes are cracking on top I'm sure you could get new ones at your local dealer. Enjoy your car!
Mods are personal decisions but I sure love my shaker hood. Not cheap but nothing decent ever is. Here is my shaker hood. It breaks up the white color.

Thanks guys! @nc07gtcs yeah...gates county is about an hour from the OBX. I agree...I like how that hood breaks up the white...very sharp looking. I think if I got new gt/cs decals for the sides you'd be able to see them better. They're kinda faded. I have a few family members that do body work and painting...the goal is to remove the vinyl stripes and have a more custom set of stripes painted on. That's in the works for next year! ;-)
