I've had all my work done at Red*Star Auto Works in Sacramento. It cost about $2500 for the custom paint job and new 3d500 wing and rear louvers. Everyone we see really likes the job Steven did. They say it gives the car a more aggressive look.

I was in the same boat, do I mod or not? I purchased a CDC Shaker kit for mine and now have decided not to cut the hood. (See the For Sale forum for a CDC Shaker!)
I'm going with stripes painted on so I want the hood smooth. Besides, I see a supercharger in my future and I want the "sleeper" look.
Cheers
John

I put on the rear emblem in honor of Carrol Shelby. He was was assigned the task of designing and engineering the necessary parts and assembly procedures for the original 1968 GT/CS. This was done right along side the development of their 1968 Shelby. FORD added a limited production factory GT/California Special this year as a tribute to the 1968 GT/CS. If people ask, I tell them it's a tribute to him.

I know u get asked because a get tons of questions on the CS, I think your car looks awesome, I was going to buy a white CS and do the exact same thing. Went with black instead, no regrets. nice tribute.
