Has anyone installed a set of side mirror inserts? There are two types on eBay...one is the upper half and the other is the full cover.

They come painted and ready to install!

 

I had the same ones on my silver '05 GT...great mod.

 

I was going to get a set from a guy in eBay, but when I asked him if he guaranteed color match and fit...he said no.

How do they look from the mirror side. Is there a gap? They look good from the front.

 

You just have to take your time installing them. Cut a one of the peices of tape in 1/2 and put them on the sides. There is no gap, if you install them properly.

Appx how much HP does that add to your car?????

 

I'm sure it would add something considering it's a smoother surface (.0000000000001 HP). So you see, it's not only an appearance upgrade, but also a performance upgrade. Just like the hood scoop. Let me explain: My car has a hood scoop and it gives me the impression that it is a mean fast machine...therefore, it changes my driving mood and my foot presses more on the gas...therefore, provides me with more HP

I had them on my black '05 and have them now on my VB '07....highly recommend then - excellent quality & reasonably priced

 

I got mine at Midwest Auto Gear as well. Fit and finish are awesome
