With paint I've spent about $1200 that includes the front grill and back panels, matts and seat covers so I'm getting close to that $1800mark for the CS Upgrade..

Also I purchased the strut brace that goes on the GT500 and it clears the engine cover perfectly!!

Just be sure - cause you will have to drill at least two holes per side to install.

The car looks great! I think you save about 3-5K on your upgrade/mod to the GT/CS.I have the hood scoop on my 07 GT and its bolted on,the side scoops have two sided tape and some type of plastic snap on clip you have to drill holes for.Shelby is buying the side scoops up from Ford so it drove the prices up 100%.I'm a former legend lime owner and I can understand why you made the changes.I think Ford cut the color short and should have kept it for 07'.

Well I just might have to go with another side scoop that doesn't require any drilling but we'll have to see!! The next thing will have to be 18" Black Bullitt wheels.. I think..... Thanks for ther info on the scoops!!

Yeah...it's a combo of double sided tape and two "fastners/clips" (that require drilling) per side.

Here is a couple of pics with my Lengend Lime with the 18" Bullitts,The factory black Bullits($160.00-FRPP) are hub centric and the fitment is excellent.Check the Tire Rack for best prices on 18" tires(around $77.00 each),those were factory size T/A KDWS235-50-18. Ogre

GT/CS Conversion

I have installed the GT/CS front and rear bumper covers on my '05 GT convertible, also. I ordered them from Kevin Casey, as well. I believe I may have been the first to order them from Kevin. I love the look, and the fitment is perfect! No hand fitting required. I had them painted and installed by a local body shop. I passed on the side scoops and the hood scoop though, primarily because they are cosmetic only and are non-functional. I'm also foregoing the rear blackout panel - it's all a matter of personal taste. I have installed the Web Electric sequential tailight harness, the next mod will be to replace the factory spoiler with a ducktail style spoiler. I'm also contemplating the 3d Carbon designed "Boy Racer" hood.

My dealer has been trying to get a side scoop for over a month from Ford. My passenger side is loose again and they have agree to replace it. They told me the part only became available last Friday. so I'll call again on Monday to get another excuse.
