Just ordered a 2013 GT/CS on 7/7/12

On Saturday myself and the little woman went an ordered a 2013 GT/CS on Saturday. We ordered a Performance White GT/CS, manual with 3.73 gears and comfort package. I am hoping to have it by the end of August when we go to the MCA show in OK. but I think that maybe asking too much. I was able to used the MCA X-Plan which saved me 2,200 off the window sticker price so in the end I will only be paying about 52.00 more a month than what I am paying for my current GT/CS.

I think you're correct about "asking too much", but it could be a real treat if it comes in under the wire. Looking forward to photos, in any case. Good on ye, "myself".

Maybe my good buddy John Clor could help me get my car pushed up the chain..... I would make for a good story on the Fast Fords weekly email blast. Call the article "Where's Ron's Car"

The lastest status is the order is schedule during the week of 7/30/2012. So I am not quite sure what that means but the ball is rolling. I did PM the Ford Rep. to have her check the status as well.

When you join the Mustang Club of American one of the benefits is the Ford X-Plan which in my case saved me around $2,200.00 off the window sticker prices which is quite nice.

The lastest update is: the car now has a VIN number and is scheduled to start being built on 7/30/12 if I am reading the information correctly.

After doing a little research, I found that the Scheduled to Date of 7/30/12 means the car should be built on 7/30/12 so the window sticker should be online either 7/23 or 7/24.

Just curious, but $2,200 does not seem like much of an x plan discount off the MSRP. Would you mind sharing the retail with us ??? If it was off the invoice that would be different. Under x plan pricing and I have used it several times you should have got the invoice info with the x plan price clearly stated and there are no doc fees..... GG

The Dealer showed me what all the prices of the different Plan. So of course the best plans are the A and Z but the 2,200.00 was off the window sticker. So out the door the car will cost me about the price of the window sticker price.
