GT/CS VIN question

Does anyone know if there is a specific digit in our VIN# that indicates if a vehicle is equiped with the GT/CS package?

I don't believe its in the VIN #, since its an option package.

Jeff is correct. There is nothing in the vin that identifies a vehicle as a GT/CS.

I'm sure that I was told that the factory built or set up GT/CS's were recorded some way that if Ford punched in the vin # they would know ?

What i would like to know is, how many they built this year.

I asked Ford Customer Relations dept and they couldn't answer about the number built. There is NO way to tell a GT/CS by VIN only.
