This is Paul Newitt of the GT/CS Registry....

I have been accepting registrations for the late model (2007-2009) Mustang GT/CS since 2007. I have quite a few cars now, and am aggressively persuing any and all NEW registrations, to be included in my new book: "GT/CS Recognition Guide and Owner's Manual". A 200 page, hardbound book about the 1968 and 2007 through 2009 GT/CS (yes, 2009, with white stripes).

ALL the late models that I receive registrations from (include VIN, data sheet, etc., and photos on a CD) will be included in the book.

I will also have a detailed chapter about the development and production of the late model GT/CS as well. An interview with the project manager at Ford will be included. This is the authorative book on the early and late model GT/CS!!! The book is slated for summer 2008 release, and it $100 a copy.

Great I am glad you got it and like it...I am always concerned that the package will be all bent up when it gets delivered.

Been a while since I have been to the site. I give you a lot of credit for taking on this project. Don't usually get involved with giving out information but I think it is a worthwhile cause. OK Rich you have been added to the database and website. Just to double check was 9/11 the build date? Also send me a email with any info on any GT/CS you find this will really help me catalog our GT/CS beauties. And congrats on being 1 of 7,653 GT/CS built for 2007.

Thanks for the add! I am not sure of my build date. I have the 9/11/06 date as the invoice date. I will try to figure it out.

 

I just got a email from a Ford salesman who checked the country for GT/CS and sent 133 page email with 10 car per page so as you can see I will be busy for awhile going through the list. Right now the car count is 952 and with these cars I am guess I should be aroun 1,500 or so.
