GT/CS grill opening size?

I am very close to purchasing a new GT/CS. I am noticing the front end opening has not protection of the trans cooler/radiator area, it is totally exposed to anything that flies in the front, should I worry??

I never thought about it, but if you were ever to hit a cat or something small and low to the ground it will definitely mess up the condenser.

Isn't the GT front almost as exposed. It has that little center vertical bar, but on either side it's a straight shot to the radiator right?

Yeah, I think the GT opening is a little smaller, but not much, except for the vertical bar. I can measure both if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

Check out the opening on Shelbys Supersnake, think what a dog would do in there at 190mph
