Exposed Radiator

We all have that big gap on the front bumper exposing the radiator. Is there any aftermarket parts that could be placed in the gap?

nothing that I have found, even thought of trying to have something made and marketed but start up costs were high.
Second thought is get some expanded metal that somewhat matches the honeycomb of the upper grill and add that in somehow.
So far nobody has had any problems with any damage. Look at Shelbys cobra that just sold, looked like a jet intake, no grills there.

You could try a roll of gutter guard. It's black plastic mesh that looks like expanded metal and is used to cover gutters from leaves and such. I used it behind my grill and it catches a lot of stuff that would have hit and damaged the fins.

It's available at Home Depot or ACE. It come in a roll.

Shelby Autos is releasing a billet lower grill in silver and I think black too for the GT/CS / Shelby GT front end. It is in the shopping section as coming soon and the part it on their concept Shelby GT-H convertible.

My radiator is not exposed.
I have A/C.
I don't worry about the A/C getting hit. It can't hurt the engine. I don't use it that much anyway.

Put your licensce plate there, someone on this site has pics of this and it looks sweet. I have not done mine yet, it's been three months and I have not been pulled over yet. I live in a state where front lisc. plate is required.

The more exposure the better for the cooling of the car. Ford would have covered it up if otherwise, they engineered it that way

[ATTACH]21300[/ATAttachment 21300

Attachment 21301TACH]I took the Grille from the V6, cut the pony out, cut to fit and installed it. Now the extra Pony might look a little gay, but it sure beats havin to put another a/c cond. in. too the tune of about $350.00 and thats doing it myself.

The guy whinning about $79. give me a freakin break, you pay 30k or so for a car and then want to put some "jerryrig" piece of **** from Home Depot on it.

And the guy blocking the airflow (to the rad. and the a/c cond.) with his lic. plate , come on bud, have you no common sense?

i thought it looked cool.. kinda like if you had an intercooler behind that gap

can you please post a lower shot of that gap?
i have a feeling it would look different than what i've seen here, as all cars in Dubai are equipped with larger radiators

Really now, no common sense?
How much air do you really think it blocks.
It is not like I sealed it off or anything.
The air flows plenty around the plate.
Do you know anything about airflow?
And yes...
Your "jerryrig" piece of **** from Ford looks gay.:gay:

I have a GT/CS, it has a larger opening than the GT, just waiting for a good aftermarket grille or one that I like.

Hey Karman, you can stick it up your *** for all I care.
These cars run a little on the hot side, and in warmer climates I want all the air flow I can get. But I'm sure you wil dazzle us with all your "Air-Flow knowlage" so go ahead, I'm sure you won't be able to resist.

If anyone wants more Pics. of my gay grille.........send me a E-Mail.

Welcome to the forums, I hope you spread your warmth and love to all.
I have no "Air-Flow knowlage".
I do have knowledge about many things, but I doubt you would ever listen to persons other than yourself.
One thing I do know.
Your gay grill flows less air than no grill.
If you want as much airflow as possible, why did you put it on?
