Actually it doesn't look like black/ dove it looks more like two shade of gray ,doesn't it?

 

I really like the front and rear bumpers. Say... where's the hood scoop?

Topnotch, could you get a picture of the window sticker, I am guessing that this is black with gray and not the elusive dove. (Edit: Dove interior pics have been posted and not what I expected.)

I'm sounding like a broken record, but its a shame there's no spoiler delete on the GT/CS

 

I just realized that's the GT500 rear bumper.
It just has that little panel on the side painted body color instead of plain black plastic.

 

It's not painted at all. It's the same black plastic as the mirrors, V6 rocker mouldings, etc.

 

It is matte black on both car colors.

 

Don't know about the color but it seems to me that oil cooler inches above the pavement at 60 mph could catch a rock on the freeway very easy.....ouch!!!!!!

 

I thought the delete remained an option????

God, NO, I think the one thing I do not like on that car is the **** spoiler...

It is true, you cannot run the spoiler delete option with the GT/CS option. One of the guys went to the dealership and tried to do exactly that and it kicked back a message that spoiler delete cannot be selected with the GT/CS. That's a real bummer because the GT/CS would look so much better with a "real" ducktail (as opposed to that ugly-butt ducktail they're putting on the Pony Package for '07).

 

That really sucks.

I do not like the regular "spoiler."

the next problem then is that i think the GT/CS would look good with a ducktail, but the selection of ducktails that cover the factory holes and aren't gaudy is seriously limited...

 

Well, a good body shop can solve the holes, but
finding the "right" looking ducktail will take some thought.

 

I went to the dealer to order a GT/CS and was told I had to order the Comfort group package because I ordered the IUP. I dont want the heated seats etc. but salesman said it was the only way I could order it. Any input here? Thanks

 

also whats the deal with this FDAF Ford Dealer Advertising Fee they are trying to charge me for $420.00 This is my 7th new car and never had to pay that before?? Help

 

I just saw in one of Kevin's threads that the factory GT500 spoiler covers the stock spoiler holes!!! And he's got it available for order now!

 

The comfort group is completely unrelated to the IUP. Tell him that you've checked into it and you do not have to order them together and get him to run it on the computer. When it doesn't come back with a conflict message he'll know you're right.

The advertising fee is apparently mandatory, several people have complained about getting tagged for it.
