Dead GTCS

I received a tune from bamachips and while uploading the tune everything went dead. Checked all the fuses and all are okay. Has anyone experienced this before.

fuse

Hi 07gtcs the same thing happened to me. i was loading a tune from doug, from the xcal and the screen went dead and unable to start car. i checked the fuses by the kick panel on passenger side and found number 8 blown. that is the cluster data link connector. replaced it and had to set the car back to thestock tune then reload the tune, because the fuse blew while it was downloading. u might want to check the fuse again just to make sure.. hope this helps jim...

First call Doug. If he can't be readily reached, then disconnect the battery, wait a little while, and attempt again. This is uncommon, however, does unfortunately happen.

It was a blown data link fuse. That's a 10 amp fuse, I can't figure out why in the world it would blow it...unless, the x2 is pulling pretty close to 10 amps.
