When I ordered my GT/CS, the list of CS extras showed "California Special badged floor mats". However, when I picked it up, the floor mats simply have a brushed metal tab on them that says "Mustang". Did anybody else with a CS get anything different?

 

Nope, just the same as you got.

 

That's irritating. I was hoping for some kind of CS identifying script or something.

 

I ordered mats from Ford parts counter at my dealer in Oct of 05 for $75, and they are the same mats with the brushed metal tag that says "Mustang", that now come with the GT/CS... I also thought it was going to be something unique to the GT/CS......

 

Pretty lame that we would only get front mat's so I ordered a set that hand the running pony on them still not what I like but was better that what it came with !

 

I'm pretty ticked that the Ford literature would specifically say "California Special badged floor mats" and then just have Mustang on them. Other than that, I really like my CS. It would be nice though if there were a few more CS type touches like the Shelby has.

 

I did the same. I asked my dealer what happened to the special mats? She said they were still bagged and in the trunk. I looked at them and thought for sure they did a switcheroo on me, but they didnt.
They just werent special at all.

I had hoped they would have the script writing "California Special"

By the way, if anyone here knows someone that can do that for me, let me know.
