i brought my car in yesterday to get rid of the squeeking noise when i go ver speed bumps.as i pulll in the bay,a mechanic looks at the car and say's "ohh this is the new gt/c5" wtf!!! lol i cant belive he even said that, He didnt even know what they came with.i know it's not blown but wtf dude lol!! later on in the day he calls me back and tells me i need a new controll arm!! again the car is like 3 weeks old. Why would i need a new controll arm? anyway ima ring it in today to get it replaced, hopefully they dont ruin my car

Probably just a bad gasket on the control arm. Happened on my '98.

He probably thinks the squeek is coming from your ball joint. Ford only sells ball joints already attached to the control arms. Kinda like their foglights. You can't just buy the casing, you have to buy the brackets too.

LOL - that's how my local dealer is - and why I never take any of my vehicles to them for service....much rather drive a few miles and be treated with respect.
