Go Black, but get ready to clean it.

 

Question about the Premier Trim option: does the Black/Dove interior choice mean black interior environment with dove seats? If so, does the Dark Charcoal interior choice mean black interior with black seats? In the picture a few posts above I saw an interior with black seats & dove interior environment and wondered how that was ordered.

Correct. Mine was ordered with the premier trim package, black/dove, and the seats are solid black from the photo of the Vista Blue GT above.

 

The VB is sweet but I would have to select black with black/parchment interior.

Nice that was my first choice right up to when I ordered I changed my mind. My 05 was Parchment Loved it , but change is good. Now I have a Bra with no use ?

 

Black is NOT hard to keep looking great. With the exception of one Porsche, all of my cars/trucks have been black. As such, I've become a detailing student over the years. I'm also lazy. I live in Maryland so we have a mix of weather which includes the dreaded salt on roads. The trick is to stay ahead of the game. I use a combo of Meguiar's Mist-n-Wipe and Zymal Spray Detailer. ALWAYS use good microfiber towels. I wipe the cars down once/twice a week at least which is still less time it takes to wash and dry the cars once a week. I use XMT polish once a month/every other month and wash the cars every other month. When you add up the time, it takes less time to maintain than to wash every week. I'll add some pics soon for the "black is too hard" crowd to show what I'm talkiing about.

Go with the black even though it is hard to keep clean it looks sweet when its clean or a litle dirty.

 

Off subject, but is there any news on new colors for the 08 GT/CS?

 

I heard redfire metallic and windveil blue are gone in 08 and replaced with candy apple red and grabber blue........Now back to topic, i say black!!! ....sure, its a b*tch to keep clean but when its clean, you just can't get that super deep mirror gloss shimmer that you get with black clearcoat with any other color
