Does anyone own a California Special in Grabber Orange? If so, please post pics. Thanks.

I saw a non CS one the other day. Don'l like that color at all. Looks like a Kia or one of those funky colored little cars.

It's not mine but at a Ford dealer here in Oakville Ontario. The name is appropriate though cuz it Grabs your attention!

I kinda wish i had a GO CS just becuase you cant get them anymore. Also, with a color like that, you'd have more styling options to consider. I have a black CS and I'm seeing that my only options seem to be flat black, silver and white. And as far as the emergency door goes, theres always the emergency latch in the trunk!

 

Sure you can. Grabber Orange is listed as a color option on the 2008 GT/CS in the 2008 order guide.

 

GO GT/CS only became available as a job 2 colour.
They will be rare and unique because of the late availability and the "in your face" colour.

But they are a striking and awesome looking car!

...with loads of "personality"!

 

I have a 2007 GT/CS in Grabber Orange. I don't have any digital pics of it yet because it's been raining since I got it but it looks like the ones posted here. If there's something specific about it I can try and answer it or take a pic.

The part I thought was interesting is that when I was buying the car the dealer was looking for GT/CS's within a 700 mile radius and the only ones that were available (besides the GO I got) were white and 1 black one that was on the boat but already sold.

 

did they make a cs convertible?

 

I've not seen one in person but I've seen the typical marketing pics on the web and there's a white w/black vert shown around.

Yep plenty of 07 GT/CS convertibles still around. I have the coupe but am seriously considering adding the 08 vert to my stable. Call it greed or lust ...the convert is hot. With a cloth top it is finer than those the other foreign luxury coupes plus faster. But GRABBER ORANGE with a black cloth top...I think not. Now candy apple red or white/with black top..that's what I am talking about!

When I ordered my CS 'vert back in Oct. of '06, they asked me "What color?" I told 'em I wanted Grabber Orange. I was told "no way in a CS! White, Black, Red, or Blue." I kept telling them I wanted orange!! I 'settled' for VB... Now they go and make 'em in GO. Ford sucks!
Now I'm gonna have to go and order an orange one, and start over... LOL

 

A GO CS would look cool with a flat black rear spoiler....and maybe the trunk insert too..I though about GO....and was almost convinced...but it was just too attention getting....kinda like:
"HEY POLICE OFFICER: LOOK AT THIS BRIGHT ORANGE MUSTANG HAULIN' A$$"

I know a couple of cops that have seen my ride and said, "Good thing you didn't get a 'gimme a ticket' color like yellow or orange!" I still want a GO/CS, but statements like that make me glad I got VB!!!
