Congratulations on the new GT/CS purchases! the waiting is crazy. I too am in Iraq on a 15 month tour. 15 + 1 month predeployment training so 16 months away from the family. I went home on R&R leave and spent about 10days with my new SGT which is kin to the GT/CS. I am going crazy now again waiting to be reunited with my family, friends and the Shelby. Bummer is that it there will probably be snow on the ground when I get back. Congratulations again and those others who are deployed or soon deploying, stay safe.

The shelby gt's are nice, I was looking into getting an 08 but they cost a little much for me 
. at least i have the bumpers of a shelby tho

btw update, still has not arrived yet. runnin 9 days late of when it was supposed to be delivered. shipped on 8/11 and its now 10/2. almost 7 weeks so far.

Where is it being shipped to? Colorado? I got mine in 2 days but I live in Indiana. Probably stuck on a traincar somewhere. Make sure you check it over real good when you get it. Rail dust and pitting, stuff like that.

Ahh, those were the days. I remember ther feeling of picking up the new car just about 10-1/2 months ago. Have your feet touched the ground yet? Can you stop looking at it? All things I experienced, ahem still experience! You are in store for the time of your life! It is a great car and a lot of fun. Enjoy it!
Great choice on colors BTW as it looks like a twin to mine, though mine has changed a little since I picked it up in November 07. Oh, that's another problem, once you start modding things, it's very difficult to stop.

I'm not too keen on the shifter tho. Too easy to miss third. I'll be ordering a pro 5.0 in about 5 minutes... I love the interior, the shaker 1000 with ipod hookup and mobile ease works nicely. So far i have my foose nitrous's on and pypes muffler delete. It would be the midmuffler system but the kit was missing 6 clamps and they wont be here until friday. getting 4.10's installed next monday and my brenspeed intake and tuner will be here soon too.. 150 shot of nitrous/water/methanol next month.. mwahahaha

I like the interior as it is now, the shaker 1000 and my tomtom is all i need. The pro 5.0 was a pain to install. Theres fiberglass insulation that mad it a pain to get the bolt out on the arm that connects to the transmission. Also I need to shim it as soon as my kit arrives...
