Agony
3 Months and counting until I get to pick up my CS. Only one thing on my mind while I wait...I can still change options on it, and I have selected all of the bells and whistles other than the heated seats and 6-way power. Is that option worth the extra $500 or so?

I wanted those options so I ordered them. Is it worth the $? Well, is anything. I dont't think about how much if it's within reason. The $ is all realative.
In 1967 Mustangs were approximately $3,000.
40 years later...you can buy a reasonably equipped Mustang for $30,000. (That's a 1,000% increase)
Carry that forward another 40 years...will my grandkids buy a Mustang for $300,000?

If you have plans to drive this during foul weather, cold and all they are nice to have when the temps drop but I am with the class here. Save the $$ and get yourself something the factory can't give you!

Basically its a feature you will like if you live in someplace that gets cold enough to use it. My girlfriend and I live in Charlotte, NC. It gets cold enough sometimes to use it but honestly her car has it my Mustang doesn't and I really don't miss it either way. Some people actually don't like their rump to be blazing hot or sweating so if you are including in that group you probably won't give a **** either way.
Save your money if you don't give a flip about being toasty the moment you sit down.
It is a comfort option I can live without personally. Don't really like it all that much when available.
Hope this helps.

Having the power passenger seat is a plus, though. I ordered the Comfort Group for my 07 GT basically just for the power seat, but the heated seats and electrochromatic rear mirror are handy, too, I guess.

I live in Minnesota and the winters are cold and snowy. Even cold before winter starts. I have leather seats and as long as you have a jacket and pants on, it does not make it any worse to have cold seats.

Great, thanks for all of the replies. I am most likely going to do without as the car will be in Arkansas. Gets cold but not all that bad. I concur with the sweaty rump thing.....dangerous! Thanks again!

Chad,
You were in mine and I love it. Also one day that might be a better selling option that the car is equipt with. Just my opinion. Just come over again and sit in my car and you might change your mind.

Heated seats are good if your in a cold winter climate, particularily is you have leather seats. Nothing says brrrrrrrr than sitting on a leather seat on a cold winter morning. I have cloth seats in my stang, but I sure notice the comfort in another vehicle that I own that has leather seats once I hit the heat button. I like the six way power seat...it just another item that adds a bit of class to the vehicle.

Heated seats?
I have heated seats in my '07 GT/CS and they are not that great, first off they automaticlly shut off after 5 minutes and definately do not get as warm as the ones I had on my '00 Monte Carlo, which stayed on as long as you wanted. Power seats are great to have though.

I wanted the electrochromatic mirror so I had to get the heated seats and power passenger seat. I know my wife likes the power seat and the heated seat. Is it worth the $500? Only you can decide that.....I'm happy I have them.

I dont want to start a best exhaust debate, I just want to tell you to order axle backs while you are waiting for your car. I put mine on a few days ago and it is awesome!!! Sounds and looks so much better than stock.
