Well,
I'm 50 and the wife, its her '07 GT/CS Vert is "older".
Being old does not mean you can't enjoy nice cars, you just can pay for them out of your retirement funds .
We do get quite a few looks when riding with the top down, sunglasses on, and our matching hats .

My Other Man
I'm 54 with a master's degree in education. I teach high school students English and history.
Last summer, I bought my 3rd Mustang, an '07 GT/CS in redfire, manual, 3.55, most options. Added flaming grill emblem, sequential tail lights, and personalized plates IT KIKS. I will add quarter panel window scoop and darker window tint. Then I'll start on the engine and exhaust.
I call it my "Other Man." My hubby just shakes his head and grins.
I hope all of you have a hobby that makes you feel like I do behind the wheel of my CS!

Here's the Redfire CS on D-Day.
I drove it to work the other day (I'm a high school teacher), and at lunch I saw a crowd around it. They came back with lots of feedback on mods for it!
What do you think--rear quarter louvers or not? I saw some Roush louvers that would dress it up nice.

New guy with an VB 07. 46 with a bunch of college but only an associates degree. This is my second Stang and my wife is on her third (04 GT vert). I've been in computers, from operations to management and am currently a programmer/analyst for a healthcare company.
Gotta agree with Trollpainter. Waited until I could get exactly what I wanted and could do it. Perfect cure for having to deal with reality most of the week....

Retirement..
62..and I just retired for the second, and hopefully, last time. Retired from the Air Force in 1983, on a Friday and went to work for the Department of Defense on Monday. I just retired from DoD with 23 years for a combined 44 years, 13 of them overseas. BS degree. Still married after 43 years.
I have owned numerous cars over the years, but keep coming back to the Mustang. '79 Cobra (took it to Germany); '86 SVO; '97 Cobra, and now the '07 GT/CS, which I bought two days before my retirement. I drove 1200 miles the day after I bought it, from North Texas to South Dakota, all back roads. What a great drive!
