abs error with diffrent tire size

Question abs error with diffrent tire size

I just swapped my tires with stock wheels from 235/55/18 to 275/40/18 in Rear and 255/45/18. now my car keeps shutting down and keeps giving abs error light and also keeps saying check brake system. any suggestion on it guys.

I would say a sensor wire probably got touched during the install and is now rubbing on something, maybe broken off already.

But this shouldn't make the car "shut down" though ...

May need to to double check a sensor. Go to discount tire and borrow their programming tool for 6 bucks.

That's a tire pressure tool not what he needs...

Abs sensors are not programable...

And just a hint. Most dealers will program tpms for free as a customer satisfaction thing
