Depends on how much factory warranty is left and also if it is in pristine condition. 26k does seem high when you can purchase an 08 for 28k to 30k depending on the options on the car and also if dealer and factory rebates are available. I purchased an 07 GT/CS last month , put in service July 07 -one owner and traded in at the same dealership with 6100 miles- pristine condition for 22996.

Wow, that's a great price you got! The guy at the dealership said the msrp for these is 33, 34k! And they are a ford dealership! At 1700 miles I hope it's pristine.

Any idea what the original sticker was? What options do you have? Anti-Theft? GT Package? 3.55 Axle?

nada.com lists it at $26,200 with just the GT/CS package. kbb.com at $27,000.

Not a bad price.

For $32K X-Plan, you can get a loaded NEW 2008 GT/CS.

I just bought a new 2008 GT/CS in January that I had special ordered in November...

X-plan,$1500 rebate.....

$26476.00 Out the door...(actually he threw in a new set of FRPP stingers in the trunk for me)....

Now, that being said, I only had 3.55's and the GT/CS package as my only two options....

You gotta remember that Xplan is only good for new cars, not used.
Go find one of our TMS salesmen about getting a Xplan pin if you want to buy new. What part of US are you in if you don't mind. They are all glad to help

Goodluck. Deals are to be had, just be patient and smart and remember, don't buy with your heart or pay more.

Go to blueoval.com for one. If you ask nicely you may get one. They give them out to people who are serious about buying. They like you to use them within 30 days of issue, so don't ask for one until you are ready to walk into the dealership and make your purchase. If they give you one and don't use it, they won't give you another one later.

Also, go to the Ford website and build what you would like to get or browse dealer inventory in your area for something that you like. Look at the invoice price. Multiply that by .996 and then add $75 to it. That will be your X-Plan price.

I purchased my 07 GT/CS in December from a Jeep dealer with 7K miles. They were asking $23,495.00 and I ended up getting it for $19,000.00. I think I got a great deal mostly to the fact that no one buys Mustangs in Deember in CT and the guy traded the stang for a FULLY loaded Jeep Commander so they made money on the jeep so they were able to give me a great deal. There were no scratches, marks or anything on this car. Also being a Jeep dealer they didn't know it was a CS as they advertised it as a GT.

Yeah I just stumbled upon this used one. I have been looking at new though. They offered about $2k off msrp from an internet price. I'm in the Midwest. What is TMS?

I bought my 2007 GT/CS through a good friend that is the fleet manager and got the car for $ 32k, with Shaker 500 radio and Cirius radio, upgraded interior package, with the stripes installed, and the Hurst short throw shifter, installed. The list was $ 36,800. At the time of purchase, there was a $1,000 rebate and free oil changes for the entire warranty period. See the picture to the left.

Would this work with the invoice price on kbb.com or is there a better source?

Thanks
