I still prefer black stripes on the black paint. That is the best looking GT/CS IMO. To each his own opinion. I tried to build a black GT/CS with a spoiler delete option in February of 2008 when I was also looking for a Bullitt. A GT/CS package was not available with the spoiler delete option then. I'm glad it's an option now. The GT/CS more closly resembles the Shelby GT with the spoiler delete.

Is that Vapor or Tungsten? Looks like Tungsten to me since I don't see that slightly gold tint that you usually see with Vapor, but I didn't think the GT/CS was ever done in Tungsten.

His car is probably an '09. The red dots are still on the sidewalls.

Lurking? Yes... Had it long? No... I don't want to hi-jack the thread, but she was delivered to the dealership on 6/26... they installed most everything, I picked her up on 7/11. Of those 14 days, she's spent 4 of them back at the dealership.

I had a check engine light at 319.9 miles, they replaced the alternator, now she's back at the dealership with a similar code from the check engine light... hoping they figure out what the issue is soon!

I'll start another thread and detail what I've gone through once it's resolved.

Now, back to the regularly scheduled thread...

Wow, I really like the Vapor... had I known the GT/CS was going to be available in that color I might have waited a few more months for it!

I think it would look better with the black stripe down the side though...

Too bad they are not making an '09 Shelby GT since vapor is now available. IMO, it would have been a great color for that Shelby.

My red dots were scrubbed off by the dealership when they prepped the car.

I would have had mine scrubbed off too but the day I bought it, it just came off the car carrier and i could not wait. Question?, Did anyone's GT/CS come with rear floormats? Like I said I claimed my so fast, all they did was wash the outside and remve some of the plastic.

Ha, no kidding! I tried to scrub the things off every time I washed the car for about 6 months!

redliner, I don't really know, but for reference, my GT didn't come with rear floor mats. I think Ford realized that you're going to have a hard time finding people who are willing to sit in the back of a Mustang. Most of the time people would rather take 2 cars than fit 4 people into mine

I've had mine since September 07 and still have those nasty little red dots. No rear floor mats come in the GT/CS.

Thanks for the info on the floor mats. Now back to the orginal thread. The Vapor GT/CS is hot. I cannot wait to see a convertible with a black cloth top. That about the only one I would trade my black coupe on.
