I can get you build information if you did not get it yet. All I need is the VIN. I am happy to help.
I've got a thread over on Blue Oval Forums getting it tracked.
You might have your SHR lower grille inserts before the car arrives.
Yeah, I know about it... I plan to place an order as soon as they are available. I've already got quite a list of mods that will be installed by the dealer prior to delivery.
Does anyone else have vapor CS around here? I'd really like to see pictures of one.
I'll be posting pics as soon as it arrives!

Are your going to put black 10" BSM stripes on it? That would look really good!

It'll be common knowledge once Edmunds, etc. get their pricing up for 2009...
MSRP = 33,725.00
Invoice = 31,231.56
X-Plan = 31,181.63

I'm considering it, I'm having a tough time trying to throttle myself when it comes to mods. I've got a list, just haven't taken the time to sit down a prioritize them.

Congrats on your order. I just ordered my 2009 c/s on June 13. I hope that the dealer calls me with the dora, that way I know that the factory received the order. It's just going to be a hurry up and wait.

Cheers Al

The dealer that you purchased the vehicle from should give you a copy DORA, that means that the factory received the order. After that you have to wait for the factory to send your dealer the vin number and the build date. You can then go to blueovalforums.com and enter the vin number to keep posted to your vehicles progress.
You might have to wait though, the web site is being updated.

Cheers

Well, the final add-on parts order went in yesterday... (M-2005-FR3 Suspension Pack). The dealer says the car should arrive next week (sometime after the 21st). The suspension pack should be delivered by the end of next week, then the wait for installation.

I'm hoping to take delivery early July.

I'll post pics once the dealer gets the car.

She's at the dealer

I plan to visit her, take a few pictures, and drop off some parts for them to install...

Well, I just got back from the dealer, and I'm not too happy...

I'm a little OCD about my vehicles... and they got a few things wrong:

When I ordered her, I told them not to do 2 things: No dealer emblems, and DO NOT install the license plate bracket... well, as you can see in one of the shots, they installed the license plate bracket, drilling 2 holes in my bumper.

The other thing they did is my DORA doesn't match the order they placed. I ordered (or thought I was ordering the 67D option (Woven Charcoal Aluminum Instrument Panel Applique w/Ribbed Pattern))... it's got the standard satin aluminum dash panels.

They've got to fix both of these things, plus a hood scoop that's not sitting flush on the hood.

They've also got some paint/installation of other parts to do... Looks like I'll take delivery of her in about 2 weeks.

I thought that the front license plate frame was an option.? I guess I had better try to warn my dealer not to install the license plate bracket. You are right it takes away from the front of the vehicle.
I cant believe that the hood scoop is not fitting flush. It's just a bolt on. I am sure your dealer will handle the problems before you sign on the dotted line.
Othere than that the car looks great.
I dont think my GT/CS will be delivered before the end of July.

Cheers Al

I am sorry to hear that. I will also be telling my dealer the same thing when I order mine in a few months. But I have to say that car is HOT!!!

Thanks... I think so. I'm sure thing will work out, and they will correct the issues. It's just frustrating to go through the process, and not have thing work out like I had expected.

Cool Totally Understand!!

Totally understand!! Advised our dealer that if they put the front plate holder on and or their logo on the back, it would then become theirs to keep! They honored our purchase request and we are very thankful for that, as we just love this Stang!! Good luck on this on. CalStang

I love the color. If they offered that in 2008 there would be one in my driveway now. They didn't and I have a beautiful white one anyway. Good luck with the dealer corrections.
