So, the CS gets the old 05-06 interior with seat inserts and new colors. The GT gets the old ICAP interior with new colors. Rumor, not fact. Talk about Ford trying to confuse us.
Personally, based on photos posted to date, I think the GT/CS interior has way too much going on with it. I was hoping for what might be (rumor) the new GT interior... the old ICAP with other colors. Brad has a photo of this in chamois, but we have yet to see a photo of this in a production car. At this time, my personal favorite remains the all dark charcoal and the dark IUP.

I think if there were the charcoal inserts on the dash instead of the aluminum it would looks better. I love the two-tone interior though.

Also, the car looks so much better without the cheap looking hood scoop. I've never like scoops on the S197's except the "California Dream Hood(?)"

I love that interior! Why didnt they have pics of that out 3 weeks ago, when I could change my order? I'm getting the med. parchment interior, which has that dash/doorpanel/center console, but the carpet is also parchment. I'd love to have black carpet, but don't like the dark dash. Of course, I would've had to get the GT/CS to get that interior, since the standard Gt interior has full-color seats instead of just inserts, but it would've been worth it, I think. ****!

Oh well, my car's getting built next week, and will be here in 3.

Exactly! What's frustrating is you know darned well that Ford figured out months ago what the production interiors would look like, so why not get something out to the public or to the dealers so that we know what the heck we are ordering?? I still don't know what the Premier Trim package I have on order will be!!

Are you aware of the 2 week shutdown in July? My GT is supposed to be built next week as well, but it's iffy at this point as to whether it will be shipped before the shutdown or not.

Tony, you may want to edit your post #6, according to the window sticker this is black with parchment. Just trying to keep the facts straight. Again thanks for all the hardwork.

That interior is horrid. If the dash/door panels were inverted, it would look incredible though.

Interesting...I got the chamois name from the GT/CS "Timeline" information. Perhaps that needs to be updated as well.

I can see how this can be confusing. Ford certainly is giving us lots of choices on the interior this year. But it would appear to be fact that the GT/CS interior is a choice between "black with dove" or "black with parchment" only.

Can you order this car without IUP or with dark IUP because I think it would look better with a black dash

I think that Black/Dove with the black dash looks sweet!!!

GT/CS forces the IUP (18G). You can select Satin Aluminum Panel (67L) or Charcoal Aluminum Panel (67D)
