1999 Cobra Convert or '07 GT/CS

What am I going to do. Someone better make up my mind for me before Friday.

THere's a '99 Cobra Convert w/20,000 mi. for $12,100 just waiting for me to pick it up like I said I would. Green and Tan. Real nice looker. Cherry. My wife says 'Go get it'.

But I'd love the new GT/CS in Grabber Orange. My dealer will sell it to me for invoice and I keep the rebate. Of course, it's still $27,000. What will I do? What will I do? What should I do?

Oh! I just went to the Build and Price your Ford Mustang site. GO is no longer there. I think it's been discontinued.

Invoice less rebate sounds like a pretty good deal on the '07 GT/Cs...curious what's sticker $29K - $31K?

Take it, I couldn't find that good a deal on mine. I used the x-plan and bought it at sticker with all options available...

Goat!

But if you're not really interested in that, go with the snake, my next choice, especially at that price

I cancelled the Cobra and ordered a GO GT/CS (without the GT package. Ugh!). Cobra was too big a gamble sight unseen, what with it being 9 years old and no real mechanical evaluation available. Those motors are finiky, you know. Run regular gas in them and you can do somne damage. He's a mechanic. I coudn't figgure why his aunt sold it to him for $5,000 unless it awas was with a blown engine. I don't know. Plus, truth be told, the new 'stang kind of makes old news out of the old Cobras. And I prefer a coupe anyway. I was just getting a 'vert for the kids. Oh, well, they can ride on the back of my VN2000 for top down fun.

Great choice on ordering a GT/CS. Just wondering what were the options you went with because my invoice is 28,082 also.

If you used the x-plan how did you buy it at sticker? X-plan would have been less than invoice with all rebates also eligible.

My bad, not at sticker...at invoice price. I had the option to use either a rebate or 4.9 financing.

GO is a Job2 color for the GT/CS. You will be able to order it.
