07 Mustang GT/CS Roush Supercharger.

Hello Stang' fanatics. I figured what place but here to ask my mustang questions. I am looking to purchase my first mustang and had a few questions. I am not sure if this is the correct section but hopefully it is.

I am going to provide you of a link to a RoushCharged Stang that is being sold by a local dealership in my town.

http://www.fairwayusedcars.com/dalla...27854-75238866

What is linked is a GT/CS Stang, With a Roush Supercharger.

My questions for you smart mustang guys would be this.

Was the Supercharger added after the car was bought or this a stock thing on some from the factory?

How much horsepower would this bad boy have since there has been a supercharger added to the V8 that comes with this GT/CS? 0-60? Quarter-Mile?

Would you consider this a fair price? If not what would be a fair offer to throw at them?

Lastly, Not really a question..Could you help me understand about more about this supercharger...I really dont know all to much about Mustangs at all.

The factory 2007 GT/CS does not have a supercharger. That is a modification.
As far as that car in the ad, it seems like a somewhat fair price if it wasn't abused. A typical dealer price. 'Private party' would be in the $18,000 - $19,000 range most likely. It sure looks nice but the dealer could have 'detailed' it to hide the past. As with any used car purchase the history of the car is very important. If you can't get details, it's a crapshoot. Example: If the last owner was a teenager that was 'pedal to the metal' at each stop light, no thanks! I'm sure the dealer will tell you it was owned by a little old lady, even with the supercharger.

If it all checks out though, offer $19,000 and see what they throw back at you. It's always a game at the dealerships. Good luck!

Id say pass. Find a real roush or Saleen with a supercharger. This car was taken care of but Moded so you dont know who did the work. You can tell just by looking at the rims and grille.

looks like a nice car. Go for a test drive. Ill bet its a low boost blower pulley and an automatic. Great combo. Car should be well in the 12's with traction
