Introducing....The "Grabber" GT

I have been teasing you guys for months about "something special" for my G.O. Mustang.

Well, wait no more! Here it is!!

I'm about 98% done with the exterior appearance items. Just a few small things left to do but the bulk of the work is done.

Of course, I realize that some people will love it and others will hate it but one thing is certain...my G.O. machine is unique!

All comments are welcome.

Mark

I like everything but the rear spoiler, too much for me. I am on the fence about the mustang letters on the decklid. I personally like the idea of not having the mustang or ford logos anywhere on the car and having it be recognizable just because of the styling.

I do like the side and rear louvers, and the hood scoop looks nicely done as well! As you said, definitely unique!!

Overall, I like it! The wing would be too much for me, but that comes down to personal opinion.

I think you need my rims to finish off your GO/Black theme.

And you need to center that right exhaust tip!

Thanks Tom!

I know the car is a little over the top for most folks, but I am having fun and thats all that really matters for any of us.

New wheels are already planned as soon as the funds become available.

That right exhaust tip is driving me crazy too. I have just been waiting for the weather to improve so I can get it taken care of. I might be able to do it on Saturday while I'm installing my new MGW shifter.

Looks very unique, Mark.

A set of Carroll Shelby cs69's in black would look great on your car.

A little too much 'Grabber' going on. I'd ditch the 'Grabber' rocker stripes and put a set of black fading stripes in it's place. Of course, all this is just my measley $.02.

Great job otherwise.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for the wheel suggestion. Those look pretty nice. I'm gonna PhotoShop them on and see how they look.

Photoshop the rims I have on there, too. I think with your theme, the cs69's have a little too much bling.

Too much bling? I think I may have already crossed that line!

I have considered the rims you suggested but what I dont like is that there is too much black. The combination of the black wheel with the black of the tire make the wheel wells look like two big black holes on the side of the car. I think I need to get some chrome or color in there.

Guess I should have said, too much chrome. It looked like you were going for more of the GO/Black theme. But if you want to add more chrome, then the rims Bill suggested would be great!

As far as the "big black holes", that's what I like about my rims - the polished ring around the black. It separates the tire from the rim perfectly.

Like everything but the wing. Extremely unique and I respect that you had the drive to make the car completely yours. Oh and you NEED some black wheels
