Well, then I would lose all my "magic"

Ok, here is the overview, for starters.
Equipment: Digital Camera, Tripod
Software: Photomatix Pro ($99 online), Photoshop or Paintshop for optional post-processing
Procedure: With tripod and camera, take at least 3 identical images across a range of exposure values (EV), some cameras have a mode for doing this but otherwise you need to do it manually. Something like +2, 0, and -2 EV would work good. Then use Photomatix to "merge" the three images into one HDR master image (sometimes referred to as the HDR negative). Once you've done that, you can output JPG images from the master with the optimum lighting conditions in both the light and dark areas of the image (this is done with simple slide bars to adjust the composite image).

you can read about HDR from wikipedia and from there find links to a number of discussions about this technique.

The pics make the car look radio active.Kinda spooky. The country side backdrop really adds to the very nice Mustang.
