Question for Alloy owners w/ Dark Charcoal Int....
Is there any difference between the shade of the paint and the color of the interior? I love these two choices, and am probably going to trade in my 06 tungsten for an alloy pony in the fall, but I want some, even if it is slight, contrast between the exterior paint and the interior. what do you guys think?

i would like the red, but it doesn't come with the pony package. now what i could do is get a reg. premium stang with seventeen inch wheels and the spoiler, and just add the pony package grill......intriguing.....

They are welts that are used for automotive trim Got them from http://www.yourautotrim.com/emwelcor.html.
.50 a yard. I think you have to have at least the IUP option for it to work. Tried my wifes Vibe, all plastic, won't go in deep enough.
There is also a site called Mr.Mikes or something like that.
Adds, IMO, just enough color.

does anyone have pics that show the alloy paint and charcoal int. in the same shot? that perhaps shows this slight contrast? i'm leaning in this direction, but i just need a little extra shove to push me in that direction!

And this is how I reached my decision:
I figured, if they're noticably different in color, then I will have some contrast between my exterior and interior. Which is good.
If they're very similar in color, then they'll match and I imagine it will have a very "sleek" look. Sort of like black on black. It's just sleek.
Both seem like good results. And my guess is that they are not the same color. Even more so, probably, because of all the light tricks a metallic+glossy surface does to your eyes, vs a non-reflective interior.
Also, kevinb posted a picture of his Alloy + dark charcoal in another thread... it's hard to judge the Alloy because of all the glare, but they look different. Here: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showpo...7&postcount=10
