Alloy Grey, Grabber Orange?

Newbie to the boards here, planning to buy a 2007 GT Coupe within the month - I will be ordering it through the X-Plan, actually.
But the color...the color...which one, my pretties??

My favorites so far are Grabber Orange and Alloy.
Since the car will be driven almost every day on a 50-mile commute, my associates keep telling me that G.O. will be too loud a color for every-day driving. Never, ever, listen to your friends!

So, how about this possibility. How about Alloy Grey, and then with BaltimoreStreetMods (if they have it) add in 10" stripes in Grabber Orange?
I did some poor PaintShop work below to try it out (my condolences to the original owner).
Help!

You might consider a darker orange stripe.Or even a some lighter shade of grey metallic. If you rmind is set on G.O. then go for. With that color stripe it may be hard to coordinate future mods like wheels.Welcome to the Forums! Uh what about Grabber Orange witha light colored alloy..nyuk,nyuk,nyuk

Yes...yes... TWO Mustangs... if I was married, maybe I could have talked my wife into matching, reverse-tone Stangs... Ah well.
Sorry Rapture, was that your original ride I butchered?

Improved Paintshop image

I was able to slightly improve my sloppy image editing alittle. Still doesn't bring Rapture's car back to respectability, but it is an improvement.

i held off until the 07's on getting a mustang because i wanted to wait to see what the orange and alloy looked like in person. well, after seeing them both up close, i chose the alloy. the orange was.... well, too orange. in the shade it looked really nice, but in the sunlight.... man, that thing was bright. too much for me. the only way i can see getting an orange, is if you are going to go with the orange/black theme... then i would definately get the orange one. that combo is sweet!

but, that alloy/orange stripe theme... i dont think so.

Or If you want GO stripes Please go black /orange and leave Alloy alone!

Love my Alloy...went to buy a GO but saw the Alloy and the rest is history. It really is a matter of personal choice....hubby has a Screaming Yellow and I wanted to go in a different direction than him.....thus the Alloy and I love it....no regrets......

I agree. No GO and Alloy. Make it one or the other, but get your stang regardless of which.

I would go with the Alloy and black leather on the inside. No stripes, though. I personally don't like the "racing look".

Dang, Emu Hunter, no offense but next time ask for help. Here's my take.

And I'm not feeling it either.

haha, ok ok, I submit. GO striped Alloy is a NO-GO as in no GO on ALLOY.
Alas, I am "forced" to buy a Grabber Orange GT due to your scowling...

And like OKCMustangGT said:

The Alloy will just need to be a late 2007 purchase!

Hi all. Another forum newbie here. I just picked my alloy gray baby on Saturday, no pics yet.

The dealer threw in some painted racing stripes, and I'm trying to figure out what color would look best. I originally wanted black, but I'm thinking they won't show up too well on the alloy... smokenpony, are you happy with your black stripes? Can you see them at night?

My other choice would be a light gray or silver color. Any other recommendations besides grabber orange?

Thanks!

Hey big ray and welcome. I would NOT put grabber stripes on your alloy. Black is nice for a semi ghost effect, though my favorite color stripes on Alloy is satin silver, nice contrast but not overly loud.

I'm very happy with the black stripes, I've gotten a lot of compliments when people look at my car. They do not stand out at night but if your close enough you can make them out. Like vistablue said the black is a ghost effect and that's exactly what I wanted. I wanted to have everyone see the car first then the stripes. I guess it's a matter of taste and you should go with what you want for your stang.

hope this helps
