They only way they could mark up the car in Canada is if they titled it as a demo and put some miles on it.

That's a huge downpayment on a house... I wouldn't even think about it

At least they had the guts to put that outrageous sticker on it. Here IN Alberta Canada, I have been turned down at 15k over. But its all very hush hush, no legal traceability involved.

Is the price in US dollars or Canadian dollars? Or is there a difference in the dollars?
Forgive me but I don't have to convert foreign currency that often.
Just South American Dollars to US occasionally.

It is U.S. dollars because that's not Ontario Canada, it's Ontario, California
Oh the Shame!

I'd buy myself an Aston Martin Vantage with that money

If I had a lot of money and were at my estate vacation home near that dealer in California, and it was convenient for me to get the car before my trip to my Villa in South beach Florida the following week, I might just stop buy and give a check for $125,000.00.
After all thats just pocket change and I already have 2 Astons and I am in some real need of true American muscle.
This when I get back from vacation I will have it waiting for me in my 20 car garage.

My dealer here on east coast just got his coupe. List is $45000. he will keep it for himself. What kills me is the $1300 gas guzzler tax. This car is rated at 15mpg city, 21mpg highway which is about the same as my F150. I only payed $160 gas guzzler tax on the truck Talk about a scr@#$%w job!! Sure wish I could afford it though.

The government expects fullsize trucks to return lousy mileage, and since that market segment was formerly the domain of domestic makers, a lower GG tax helped the Big Three.

And you literally can buy one with that money, since people going for a Vantage arent worrying about ADM's... well, at least in Great Britain. It's yet to be seen how they will handle it here.

http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/08/...price-gouging/

Hopefully they dont gouge the Vantage like they did the Ford GT when it first was released

I love it! I copied that picture to my hard drive, in about a year when the Shelbys are going for MSRP I'm going to post it so we can all have a laugh about the "glory days" of Shelby pricing
