Last week, Ford asked me to drive that car in One Lap of America, but I had to decline due to my work schedule. I could've been a Cannonballer!!!

how come that car had scoops over the quarter windows? in all of the press photos it just had windows

the scoops were duckted to the diff cooler.

must have been for high speed endurance testing.

they had them blocked off with foam rubber.

Brad you should have taken vacation...you don't get the chance to do One Lap, ESPECIALLY on someone else's dime, too often

Plus the site would get some great press and pictures

I'm sorry if I'm not up-to-date on the new Shelby, but is that the production grille? Yuk. The mesh is big enough for birds to fly through! Kinda like the pony-pkg grille. All other photos I have seen have had a finer mesh and looked better, imo.
