First off I don`t believe a thing any car salesman tells you !

I was in to see this car the other day and then went back
several days later for pictures, they even moved the barricades for me,
and it was the same story, SOLD. If thats the case why hasn`t it been delivered. Also a GT 500 vert, same story. Are the dealers holding
delivery so they can show em off ?

 

pretty much...it's just there for show, hoping maybe you'll order one. It's probably sold to the owner of the dealership or one of his friends.

 

Or the buyer is out of state and arranging shipping??

 

The specialty cars in the Nashua Ford showroom were owned mostly by the owners.
They were not for sale, all 6 of them. We had 6 others on the floor to buy.

Riiiiight. Coastal. Wasn't at all impressed with Coastal Ford on Main St. Their salespeople rotate faster than I change socks. The last guy I dealt with in there sounded and acted just like Borat, and proceeded to tell me that the Stang had an independent rear suspension and front struts with "fluid filled mountains."

Now, I like "fluid filled mountains" as much as the next guy (if you catch my drift), but this Latvian dude had no clue what he was talking about.

 

Perhaps they stuck the sold sign on it and it wasn't actually "SOLD". Perhaps they stuck the sign in the window hoping some guy would come in, see it, want it, and try and "overbid" the other "buyer".

 

Perhaps they were playing games.

 

Same thing in PA. GO vert, signed, with a sold sticker on it been sitting in the showroom for almost two months now. just saw it this past weekend when visiting family

 

I could never be a car salesman, just thinking about this stuff gives me a headache
