I picked up a copy of the of the Vehicle Order Confirmation form from the dealer. The order has been assigned a "40" priority code. Does anyone know what iit stands for? TIA.

Don't know about the Shelby... but I assume it's the same as any other order.
When I got my GT I got a priority of "11" and was told that the higher the number the longer the wait for the car to be built.
In other words there are a lot of people ahead of you that will get their cars' built before yours.

Just came back from the dealer...
I was assured that since mine is the only GT500 on the dealer's order bank the "40" priority code is nothing to be concerned about.

The priority is assigned by the dealer. It is my understanding that the code is for all Mustangs. So, he may have 39 V6s in front of you. Go in and ask him where it stands and see if he can move it up.

Huh Services rendered I'd suspect ? I just left my dealer that has as SVT ship and for who ever was on their wait list Too bad they are getting Zip Nadda So you are one lucky A$$ and hey duck watch out for that frying pan.
