Well guys...

... what do you think?

Aside from the cosmetic and performance differences, the 2010 GT500 seems to be a worthy passing of the torch. I had a feeling Ford would match the KR's performance upgrades and improve the existing platform.

Hard to vote on this one. I mean I love the front and sides as well as the interior of the new GT500, but I haven't seen the rear yet.

IMO the '10 GT500 is a masterpiece just as the '07 - '09 GT500s. The different design now gives the '07 - '09s distinction and the stage to become instant classics without the need for restoration.

Best thing about the 2010 GT500, is that maybe now, the 08-09's will be affordable.

Worst thing about the 2010 GT500. Although I do like it, the nose looks like its falling off.

I'll give the nod to the 2010. The preformance, colors, and interior are enough to do it for me. The interior looks to be perfect. I would love a grabber blue vert with black stripes.

Happy Birthday George!!

I am biased of course, but, I still prefer the 07-09. I think the design is the perfect blend of old Mustang meets new Mustang.

With that said, however, the '10 is a nicely done evolution of the 08. I would like to see one in person, especially the rear before passing final judgement.

The power upgrade is not all too exciting. The same tune can be acquired from Ford Racing.

Sounds like they are improving the tranny (and its problems) and the exhaust note.

I guess I would say the new is a very desirable car, but, not enough to make me sell mine.

That's the beauty of it. The same can be said of the '03 - '04 Cobras and our model, each model represents the best of its generation.

I have been staring at the pics for about 24 hours now. The design is growing on me. The only thing I don't like is the huge plastic air outlet on the hood. Maybe it will look better in person.

Also, there is no real good view of the rear of the car. Not real crazy about the GT version. Hopefully the GT500 version looks better from the rear. I love the rear shot of the '05'09s.

We didn't like the '07 either, the preference if you recall was for the concept's design. If it actually extracts more air then it's worth it.

I don't see that much difference with the new design. It's a nice modern progression similar to the European trend with all the reverent Mustang cues.

Believe it or not, I was one of the few that did like it. I remember saying something like it looked like the pits on a real Cobra's nose.

I'm sure it looks better in person. As you said, if the function is improved, then I am all for it. I know mine gets really hot under the hood.

I'd just like for the winter to end so I can get mine out again.

well i am going to drive this car on the regular while i am home. no snow except for the day i got it but it has been out in inclimate weather. it is a fun car and at about 700 miles i did a pulley, c&l, tune and exhaust. i love the blower whine, i missed that from my 03 however i just bought the twin turbo kit from urist, hellion, compound boost using the blower and two 61mm turbos! i am looking forward to driving it when i get back for my next vacation.

Sounds like that will be a freaking monster. Be careful with it.

I'm really torn here. I love the new interior of the 2010 but still like the looks of the 07-09's a little better. I plan on waiting until next spring before I do anything. By then the price of the 07-09's will drop even more and the 2010's will be around for about a year. Hopefully by then the dealers will be done trying to rape everyone on the price of the 2010's.

I'm partial to the 07-09 design, but the kona blue '10 really gets my attention.

I have never really liked the looks of the GT500 so I had to vote for the challenger
