That's not giving it 100%. Motor Trend's top-speed test put it at 157.5, which is electronically governed. They mentioned that if the governor were removed, the car would easily reach 175. Add in the GT500 FR packs, and there's no telling what the beast will do!

I don't know how much weight you could save and still make it a comfortable vehicle. They saved some by using a solid rear axle instead of the IRS. Remove all the weight like they did with the 2000 Cobra R, and they won't sell as well.

Thanks for the video Brad.

I am impressed. The GT500 handled itself very well coming into, taking, and coming out of the turns. And HTT did pretty good himself.

Maybe I have been a little harsh on HTT and the missing IRS.
OK HTT... I APOLOGIZE ! ! !

Thanks. For drivers that have training and experiance looks like its a heckuva car. Just hope a lot of new owners without experiance in a serious car take a driving course, or we may see a few in the "recylcers".

Seems all everyone ever complains about is the weight geez, this car is completely awesome, I mean yea a little less weight would be sweet but u have all that power, looks and exclusivity. I want one so bad.
