Are they insane?

$125K, now that has got to be the highest asking price yet!

Remember, it's all "supply and demand."

It's all about whatever "worth" the marketplace attaches to it.

I disagree. rrobello and the other TMS members obsessed with posting AMV topics are just posting because there is nothing else to discuss and are trying to keep the forum going with fresh ideas. In addition, they are all fine, outstanding individuals and are irreplaceable assets.

Cool

That IMHO is just stupid money...they are building way more of these cars so it ain't gonna be worth 125 large in the future. Rare yes, but not THAT rare. I guess if you are a collector with money to burn you can afford to buy it and lock the poor thing away in the dark never to be run like it should

That's absolutely insane...especially for a car that might stay even with a regular C6 Corvette (would never catch a C6 Z06) in a drag race...I could see a $10-$15K markup, a bit more reasonable...

Board Ford is the same bunch that rudely dismissed me when I tried to buy a black GT Vert from them last year at STICKER and refusing to pay their $10k rape charge.

The indifferent salesman just shrugged at my offer and told me, "if you don't pay what we are asking, you are done here." And so I was.

Hell of it was, that car was gone a week later. SOMEONE ponied up. And I'm sure someone will fork over that ridiculous ADM as well.

OK People,

As in the other post below, everyone on this site, is by now tired of the "repostings" on this subject.
We all know that there are dealers out there that are taking advantage of the public.

Do we need to continue posting this?

NO!
So let us let the sleeping dog lie.

I was first on the list at McCoy&Mills Ford in Fullerton. They called me yesterday saying they just got one, I asked how much? $73.000, I told them to look for somebody else to bend over

Talking Shelby GT500 prices are insane - for sure !!!

I was thinking about waiting until the Shelby GT500 was released so I can buy one. Now am glad I did'nt, got myself a Windveil Blue Mustang GT that is going to become a Shelby GT500 for ALOT LESS (in appearance only).
My cousin's husband put down some serious dough on one (don't know how much) but I do know he is paying over MSRP. Going to seem funny when I drive up in my poser Shelby GT500 at the family get together next to his car and mentioned how much I payed for mine. Besides slap a whipple supercharger in mine and you have a GT that can run with a real Shelby GT500 that weights more !!!
