50% of the mark up over invoice, #2 on the list. Maximum KBB trade-in-value on the '06 GT coupe providing it is in excellent condition at the time of the GT500 delivery. I am not to completely thrilled about the deal but considering all the circumstances I don't think I can do much better.

Am I understanding you correctly, you are getting it for less than MSRP?? If so, nicely done, this should set the tone for other dealers.

Heh heh. I read that as he is paying 1.5 times the invoice price for the car.
For example, if invoice is $36k then he is paying $36k + $18k = $54k total.

I read it as if it would be....... 1.5 times (MSRP - Invoice) + Invoice.

So, what is it, Bullitt?

Considering my Cobra had a $39K MSRP and what the invoice was, the GT500 coupe having a bit higher price, I estimate my deal would be $1,600 - $1,700 over invoice or under MSRP, whichever way is understood best. The deal excludes any AMV. The estimated figures are porviding the ratio or percentage of the mark up remains relatively the same as the past years.

I read he is paying 1/2 the mark-up. If the mark-up is $10K, he will pay $5K plus invoice.

I read that as halfway between invoice and MSRP, but, it is worded kinda wierdly.

I am going Monday to make my deal as well. I am at MSRP and trying to shoot for a few hundred under. That is the best I will be able to do as I don't have an established relationship with this dealer.

Robert Lane of Blue Oval News reported last night that Ford officially announced Order Guides will be delivered to Dealers on that day (3/13).

On the timing you are looking at, if this is honored, it is a great deal.

So are you paying any ADM or not? I think I'm just as confused as the rest.

I spoke with the sales manager at my dealership yesterday and although we did not officially negotiate anything, I left with the impression that when I went in next Monday to order, I will NOT be paying an AMV. I don't know if I will get as good of a deal as 1 Bullitt is getting (nice work) but I believe I won't be paying a penny over MSRP.

I read it as he's giving his first born and his left nut. I could be wrong though.

<span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">Take the mark up</span> <span style="font-size:8pt;line-height:100%">double it</span>, then <span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%">CUT IT IN HALF!</span> <span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">lol.

If you are getting one under MSRP you sure are lucky. It gives hope to us looking to order one next year.</span>

That's what I meant. I wanted $1K over invoice but the dealer would not go for it so I'll wind up paying $600 - $700 more than I had hoped.

The way my post came out, the "mark up" can be easily confused with "AMV", which I would not pay under any circumstance for any car.

Good for you George. I wish I had an established relationship with an SVT dealer. I will likely end up paying Full MSRP or just slightly under. I am going Monday to make my deal also.

I have carefully planned my strategy and will implement its execution to maximum perfection.
Have you by any chance ever heard the phrase "... either you brains or your signature will be on that contract".

On this car, at this time, paying just full MSRP is one heck of a deal. I would be tickled pink to get that deal.

Good Luck George, It'll be sweet having two SVT products eh? BTW, considering you already have the black sidescoops and stuff, will you be ordering a black GT500 and be transplanting the mods?

The scoops do not match the GT500 theme so they'll stay on the GT. I am considering Cervinis window and side scoops but I'll wait and see if others are introduced which might have a closer design to the '68's.

The one sure mod will be to add the SVT emblem.
